(The FM king war)
Chapter 1: The first contact
In the year 220X, the world depends on a newly technology fuelled by a new type of energy called the denpa wave. An energy generated by three satellites that circles around planet Earth. Thanks to the denpa wave, new machine has been built to facilitate numerous task so the civilization could enjoy their lifestyles. However, a new kind of viruses called denpa virus began to corrupt machines. Many scientist discovered many ways to counter the problem. Then, a scientist from the new space agency Naza made a outstanding discovery. The denpa virus were in fact aliens from outer space so, he proposed to the council a project to befriend those aliens. The council approve and send a team to the space station Peace to bring contact. Everything went well until a unexplained turn of event occur. The space station met a bizarre accident and disappeared to an unknown destination. The communication between the station and the command center on Earth had cease. Despite the staff working day and night searching for the missing team, their effort came in vain when a few month later, Some peoples discovered the wrecked part of the station in the sea with no trace of the team. The crew were automatically consider MIA (Missing in action) and several member of the staff were order to go tell the terrible news to each missing scientist families.
(Now three years has passed since this horrible tragedy.)
Kodama town present day. With times, the world has forgotten the horrible incident except for one family. This family in particular had lost a precious person that can’t ever be replace. A truck stops in front of a blue house. The man inside the vehicle had to honor a simple request made by his buddy who is a victim of the space station tragedy. He left his truck and head toward the place. Then, he push the door bell and a brown haired woman answer him.
‘’ Hi Amachi. What brings you here today? ‘’
‘’ Well Akane, I know how Daigo cares for his family so, I came to check is everything is ok. I don't want my best friend to worry if he ever comes back to us. ‘’ Answer Amachi.
Akane smiled. Her husband was always surrounded with good friends ready to help them out when they're in troubles but, her mood went down.
‘’ I wish to say that everything is ok but... ‘’
‘’ What‘s wrong Akane? ‘’ Ask Amachi.
‘’ I have a problem with my son lately. If you don't mind, I want to speak about that inside. ‘’She answer.
‘’ No problem. ‘’ Answer Amachi.
He enters the house and Akane lead him to the kitchen.
‘’ Do you want a cup of coffee? ‘’
‘’ Yes. With pleasure. ‘’ He answer.
While she goes prepared the coffee. Amachi looked at a picture of his best friend on a drawer. He remembers the day when a team of investigators visit the wrecked part of the station and found nothing. Amachi had faith then the crew might be alive somewhere in space and try his best to convince the director to continue the search but he refuse. Discouraged, Amachi goes to the beach and see a familiar object drifted from the sea toward him then, his flashback end at the moment Akane arrive with a cups of coffee in each hands. She sees him in a sad mood. Akane deposited the cups on the table and began to ask.
‘’ What’s wrong Amachi? ‘’
‘’ I can't believe it's have been three years since Daigo space station totally vanished. Three longs years and still no news. ‘’ Answer Amachi.
‘’ Hmm, I suppose it has been that long. ‘’ She said.
He watch the secondary picture place next to the first one. That photo display a happier Daigo alongside with his wife and a brown spiky haired kid who was his son.
‘’ Oh, I wanted to ask you how he’s doing at school. He’s suppose to be in 5th grade by now,
right? ‘’ Ask Amachi
Akane re-display her worries.
‘’ He would be but, despite the school director effort to convince him to return. He still can’t bear to go. Ever since that terrible incident, he… He stop making friends and been very closed toward everyone. ‘’
‘’ The poor kid. I really don’t blame him for that. The boy lost his father, who he loved dearly. That’s gotta be tough for him but, if he’s not going to school then, what about his studies? ‘’ Ask Amachi next.
‘’ Well he’s home studying here. We’re managing with the education card force system. He’s studying from one of the textbook type card’s navi, Teacherman. But he’s not really focusing. He fiddles with gadgets or reads about stars. He wants to move to outer space to find his dad. ‘’ Answer Akane.
‘’ Oh, I see. ‘’ He felt down after hearing that. ‘’ If only we had more power, we could’ve found… ‘’
She knew how deeply discouraged he was but, Akane didn't wanted to hear him deploring over that so, she interrupt him.
‘’ Amachi, it’s ok. It’s not really your fault. It was an accident… ‘’
Suddenly, a spiky haired kid left his room. He looks a little older than he was in the pictures and had a star necklace hang in his neck. The young man wanted to exit the house without been spot by his mom so, he took a look and remark then his mother is occupied with a guest.
‘’ Perfect! Here's my chance to reach the exit quietly. ‘’
He precipitated gently towards the exit without making any noise but, Akane did notice him. At the moment he reach the door, she summon him.
‘’ Not so fast. Come here and say hello young man. ‘’
‘’ Fine. ‘’ The young man arrives toward them. Akane began to introduce her guest to his son. To the boy, he was a stranger but in the case of Amachi, It's actually the first time he meets Daigo's kid although Amachi has much heard about him from his best friend at work.
‘’ This man is Amachi. He use to worked under your dad at Naza. ‘’
‘’ Howdy! ‘’ Said Amachi.
‘’ Hey. ‘’ Hardly said the boy.
‘’ You know. I really owe him from when I use to worked at Naza. That was one brave man, your father. Oh yeah, I quit Naza a while back and now, I work at my own lab just outside of town researching the earth, space and stars. I hear you love space so, If you want, You're more welcome to drop by... ‘’ Told Amachi.
The young man had nothing to say.
‘’ Don’t be rude. Introduce yourself. ‘’ Told Akane at her son but, Subaru seem really bother doing it but, he had no choice to do so.
‘’ My name is Hoshikawa Subaru. ‘’
‘’ Nice to meet you, Hoshikawa Subaru! ‘’ Tell Amachi. He takes something in his pocket. ‘’ Oh, before I forget, I brought you a present! This is a very special pair of glasses. It’s called a Visualizer. I heard from several scientist then your father used it several times in his work, but about his function is something I don’t know much else beyond that. I found it at the beach when I quit Naza and I just thought then you should have ownership over those glasses so I’d give it to you as a reminder of your dad. ’’ He gave the visualizer to the boy. Subaru first observe it and put those special pair of glasses on his head.
‘’ This was dad’s… Thanks. ‘’ Tell Subaru.
‘’ Are you heading to your usual spot? ‘’ Ask Akane.
‘’ Yeah. I watch the news and it’s gonna be clear out tonight, so I’ll be able to see stars really well. ‘’ Answer Subaru. Akane look at her son’s transer located at his right arms and realize he didn’t activate.
‘’ Subaru, your transer isn’t on. ‘’
The boy turns on his transer.
‘’ Honestly Subaru, why must I always remind how important you must keep your transer on? Now go check your battle cards and your brothers… ‘’ Said Akane.
But, at the moment Subaru hears the word (brothers). He went mad.
‘’ Who cares? I don’t have any brother, so no one is going to see my personal page
anyway. ‘’
Akane was quite confuse toward her son reaction.
‘’ What are you talking about Subaru? We aren’t talking about brother band but how important your transer must be on. If your transer aren’t on. No one can see your ID info either. ’’
‘’ Ok, I get it. I’m going now, mom. I be back in a bit. ‘’ And the boy left the house with a grumpy mood. Amachi was speechless during the whole conversation.
‘’ He’s always like that. I wish he could develop a few brother band relationships with some other kids. ‘’ Tell Akane.
‘’ By the way Akane, where’s Subaru heading off to? ‘’ Ask Amachi.
‘’ Vista point, just behind the school grounds. He goes there every day during dusk just to stares up at the sky. He thinks… He’s see his dad… ‘’ Akane started to cry. ‘’ Ever since that day, time had stop for us. I know we should move on, but… It’s so hard to bear. ‘’
Amachi understood how painful it was for the Hoshikawa family to endure the lost of Daigo. He tries to calm down Akane by talking through that while drinking coffee. Meanwhile outside, Subaru walk his way toward his destination. While walking, some painful memories came haunting him back. Three years ago, a member of the staff told the bad news to his mom. When he returned home from school, Subaru saw his mom terribly sad. Akane tell the terrible news to his son. He took it very badly and began to stop going to school as a result. Finally, Subaru reach the playground entrance but not too far at the school gates. A group of kids we’re about to
head toward their homes until the classy girl saw the young man reaching Vista point.
‘’ Hey you two! Look who's coming toward the entrance of Vista point ‘’
‘’ But Prez! It's just only a ordinary kid who wants to play or maybe he's here to eat a sandwich in peace. ‘’ Told The big guy.
‘’ Food again? You never change Gonta. That kid you see isn’t ordinary. His name is Hoshikawa Subaru. That guy should be in our class but three years ago, he decided to left school for unknown reason. ‘’ Said the tiny nerd.
Gonta wasn't happy about the commentary made by his tiny friend and he punch on his head.
'' What's wrong with food Kizamaro? ''
The classy girl stop both in times before they argue.
'' Calm yourself big guy. Hitting on other student are against the school rules. '' Gonta calm himself has she turns her head at Kizamaro. '' His reason aren't unknown Kizamaro. The whole school staff knew him three years ago except for our teacher and even as class president, I can't access the student files so, I know nothing about him or the reason he stop coming at school but, That guy can't live his life freely forever. He must attend school like we and every kid in this town do every day. ''
'' So what's our next move Prez? '' Ask Kizamaro.
'' It's time we make our presence know to that boy. '' She said. The trio runs toward their target. The girl yell at the young man to reveal their presences.
‘’ Hey you! Wait! ‘’
Once he hears her voice. Subaru turns his head and see them coming.
To him, these kids were nothing more but strangers. The classy girl spoke.
‘’ So you’re the one, aren’t you? The boy who never comes to school. '' The girl quickly remark then Subaru seem suspicious toward them. '' Oops guess I forgot we're mere strangers to you so allow me to introduces my self and my two fellow friends. I'm Shirogane Luna of Kodama elementary school, class 5-A which you belong and in other words makes me your class president and the big guy behind me his the muscle of the team Ushijima Gonta and the short one at my side is my assistant Saishoin Kizamaro. ''
Despite the nice intro. Subaru wasn't happy about what she just said to him and care less about them so he remain silent but, that kind of attitude put both Luna's lackeys mad.
‘’ Hey, jerk! Don’t just stand there! Say something! ‘’ Said Gonta.
‘’ The Prez is waiting for a response! ‘’ Tell Kizamaro.
Subaru had no choice to say something.
‘’ …What do you want? ‘’
Thanks to her two lackeys, Luna finally gain the boy's attention.
‘’ Nothing. But it’s my job as class president to see that all of my classmates attend
school! ‘’
'' Uh,what? '' Hardly understood Subaru so, the class president gave him a clearer explanation.
‘’ I hate it when things are not perfect, so having one person missing is unforgivable! ‘’
Their motive began clear to him but, the boy wasn't ready to return so, Subaru refuse the class president offer.
'' Sorry to deceive you but, I've really got nothing to do with you. ''
But, his rejection at the offer made both lackeys very angry.
‘’ Hey! You can’t say that to the Prez!! ‘’ Tell Gonta.
‘’ How dare you! The Prez is telling you to go to school! Don’t look down on us because you’re taller! ‘’ Said Kizamaro.
A silence reign the area. Luna feels then her two lackeys did a lousy job
at convincing Subaru since he is in a angry mood.
'' Gonta! Kizamaro! That's enough! He is not convince '' Ordered Luna. While the duo calmed themselves, the class president spoke to Subaru. '' In any case, Subaru I expect to see you tomorrow morning at school. You can't stay forever at your home studying. You need some proper education and school is a better place for you. ''
Yet again, She said something that upset him. Subaru maintain again his silence and ignore them by making his way further to the park. The group watch him entering Vista point.
'' Hoshikawa Subaru... Something from his attitude tells me he won't showing up at class tomorrow. If only we had some way to open him up. '' Told Luna. While Gonta and Kizamaro tries to find any great ideas for their leader. She look at her transer and thought on something. '' Hmm, today's brother band lesson was... '' Suddenly, she had a idea. '' Yes... That may come handy... Come on, you two! Let's get going!! '' The trio walk their way until they reach the school gates then, Luna turns her head at the nerd and gave a assignment. '' Kizamaro! I need you to copy the brother band lesson and send it to me by e-mail right away. ''
'' But Prez! That's prohibited by the school rules. You might lose your class president title if they learn we're copying a homework. Remember then you have to set a example to every
student. '' Said Kizamaro.
'' Kizamaro! That bad egg need to return to school now and this plan might convince him to return and you know what I think about insubordination if you do refuse Kizamaro so for now, I recommended you to begin working. I need that copy right now. This is a pressing matter. '' Told Luna.
Kizamaro began to work fast. Ten minutes later at Vista point, Subaru had a lot on his mind. While walking the long stairway, he watch a huge building which was the Kodama school.
'' School, huh... '' He hardly said. Then, Subaru remembers the four things Luna told that upset him.
‘’ So you’re the one, aren’t you? The boy who never comes to school. ‘’
Then.
‘’ Nothing. But it’s my job as class president to see that all of my classmates attend
school! ‘’
After.

The boy was angry.
'' Why do they want me to return at school fast. '' Then the face of his father came haunting him back. '' It's my own decision whatever or not I'm going to school. I just hope not meeting them ever again. '' Suddenly, his transer began to beep. he watch his transer menu. '' Mail at this hour? With the exception of the news and the class review I receive. I wonder who it's from? '' He goes to the e-mail option and took a good look on the sender. '' Ugh. It's from the Prez. '' And a tiny screen with Luna's face appear on the e-mail menu.
'' Hi there Subaru! It's me your class president, Shirogane Luna. I really didn't like your attitude you gave me earlier on but, I can forgive you if you do come to school that is! We have some brother band homework today. I've attached in your transer a new version of the brother band program we currently use in class so make sure you do your homework! Oh, and one more thing... COME TO SCHOOL! ''
Subaru's transer began to download the brother band lesson.
'' What the? Hey! What are you doing to my transer? '' Ask the boy.
'' Chill out Subaru. Your transer is only downloading the homework. '' Answer Luna.
'' But did I told you I don't want to go to school. '' He said.
'' And I don't give you a choice. Every kids in our town attend school and you're the only one who doesn't comes due to unknown reasons. Since I don't know you very well and the student files are highly classified. As class president, I have decide to make you return to school by force if necessary. So by giving this homework. You're much oblige to return and in bonus. You're also going to learn how works the brother band menu. '' Explain Luna.
At the moment the boy’s transer had finish downloading the homework. Thus began the long brother band tutorial to Subaru dismay. The screen shows the brother band roster menu with only the boy’s icon. Luna realize he had no brother which unable her to teach. Subaru smile but, she wasn’t about to gave up so, Luna had a idea in mind. Her icon suddenly appears at the upper left side and his mood went down. She explaining to him the whole function of the brother band menu and personal page. Has time passed, the boy feels bored from her teaching then, she gave him an assignment.
'' Now you're going to try your personal page. You're going to write a message but be warn I’m watching you so don't trick me. Just hurry up and write a self-intro about yourself. ''
Subaru wrote a message.
I’m not going to school.
Once finish, the class president watch his message.
'' If this is one of your joke Subaru. I don't found that funny at all. Need I remind you then we're doing something important here so behave. '' She explain the secret function and gave the same assignment as the first one. The boy wrote his secret.
Leave me alone Prez.
Subaru laugh a little but, Luna wasn't too happy about the secret he wrote.
'' MY PATIENT HAS IT'S LIMITS SUBARU. IF YOU WERE AT SCHOOL. THAT KIND OF BEHAVIOR WOULD LEAD YOU TO DETENTION. ''
'' If I were at school Prez. Which isn't the case right now. '' Said Subaru.
'' Right now you're free but tomorrow, you will show yourself at school. '' Tell Luna. Has the homework reach the end. The class president makes her final speech. '' Well that's concludes your brother band homework! Now all you have to do is trying to make some brother with other people... Go on air... And trade date with everyone and come to school! Oh, and one last thing Subaru... COME TO SCHOOL!! Got it!? I'll see you at school then so, be there! '' Luna's screen as well as her brother band icon had vanish from the menu.
'' Her school homework his a waste of time. I'm not returning to school. I just hope it's the last time I ever see her. Man! she's annoying. '' Then, he look at his brother band roster menu. '' The positive part in this is I receive a free brother band menu but still. '' In his thought, he still see his father face. '' I'm not ready to have any friends. '' Subaru finally makes his way to the observatory deck. The night came and the sky show a various set of beautiful bright stars. He turned his eyes to heavens and began to talk at the sky. '' Dad, Cassiopeia is so bright tonight... Oh and today this man named Amachi came to our house and gave me your Visualizer... It's got some sort of special lens, and it feels it has a special power, but what can I see with it? If I use it, will I ever see you...? '' The boy put his visualizer but, he didn't see his father or anything special. '' Who am I kidding? '' He turns his head again at the sky. '' Dad, where are you? I miss you so much... '' Suddenly, his transer beep again. '' Now what? I hope it's not another e-mail from that annoying class president. '' To his surprise, it was a different signal warning him something. '' Th-this is dad's access signal! And it's getting closer and closer! '' He move his head up to see a weird green shooting star at the sky but, it took him three minutes to realize then that star was aiming at Vista point. It was too late for him to move has that thing finally zap him. The shock made the boy faint. While down, Subaru could hear a voice.
'' So this is planet Earth... ''
Once the boy awake from the impact. And he see a blue armored creature with green flame in front of him. At first Subaru thought it was some kind of hallucination so, he slap himself to regain some sense but it wasn't useful because the creature was still standing in front of him. The boy began to freak.
'' You can see me? That's funny. You human beings aren't supposed to see wave beings
like me... '' Said the creatures quite surprise.
'' It can talk so A-A-Are you a monster!? '' Ask Subaru has he look at the sky and see some weird platform made of wave. ''And why... Why there's some kind of weird roads in the sky!? That's not the milky way then I saw in my space books that's for sure! Am I sure then I dreaming right now. Everything I see right now is pure fiction I know it. '' Then Subaru remarks he still wears his visualizer and took off. The creature as well as the weird road in the sky had vanish. '' They all disappeared at once... So what would happen if I put them again. '' So, he put his special pair of glasses and the creatures as well as those weird road reappeared again. '' Ah! It's back!! '' Yell Subaru. the creatures began to understand the whole situation.
'' Now I get it. You can see my denpa body with those weird pair of glasses you're wearing
kid. ''
'' But-but earlier on I couldn’t see a thing so why can see wave things now? '' Ask Subaru.
'' Hmph. I must've activated some hidden power of those glasses when I zap you little while ago. '' Inform the creature then, he quickly change the subject. '' Hey, didn't anyone ever told you not to gawk!? But I guess I can't blame you kid. ''
'' Who are you really? '' Ask the boy next.
'' The name's Warrock. I'm from a far away planet called FM and I'm what you humans call me an alien but to me, you guys are the real aliens! '' Answer the creature.
'' Well I guess in that case we have difference opinion Warrock. '' Tell Subaru.
'' Strange. '' Said Warrock.
'' What strange? '' He demand.
'' Normally, you human beings aren't suppose to see my Denpa body which is made of electromagnetic waves but somehow thanks to those glasses you're wearing, you can see me and the wave world. That road you see in the sky and you were wondering about is called a wave road. That road is a part of the wave world so you got that all clear Hoshikawa Subaru? '' Explain Warrock. Subaru was indeed surprise then a alien who he first meet knew his name all of the sudden.
‘’ Wh-why does an alien know my name!? ‘’
Unknown to them, a strange small light from the sky hit on a antique train monument. Suddenly, this antique vehicle seems to restart itself. During that time, Warrock answers Subaru's question.
'' Ok! How I know your name kid is quite simple. I meet a human being like you during one of my travel in space. A human being who seem older and muscular. He told me all about you so that's how I came to know your name Subaru. ''
'' A human being older and muscular but could it be me dad!? Where he is right now Warrock? I must know. It's been three years he haven't came back home. '' Demand Subaru. At the moment Warrock was about to talk about the boy's father. The train began to move on his own and block the exit of the playground. ‘’ Whoa! That antique train move!? That’s impossible. ‘’
‘’ Tsk! Guess they have arrive now. ‘’ Said Warrock.
‘’ Who’s here? ‘’ He ask nervously.
‘’ A bunch of creeps who are after me, that’s who kid. ‘’ Answer Warrock. Both the alien and the boy move from the observatory deck to the playground.
‘’ But Warrock. This train is very ancient. It’s not supposed to move so why it is blocking the
exit? ‘’ Ask Subaru.
So, Warrock gave the boy a clear answer.
'' That's the work of the denpa viruses from planet FM. They strike at any thing then, they take control to destroy anyone on their path and in our case. They going to use that train thing to destroy that town over there but knowing them, it's going to take a great deal of time before they do figured how it works. ''
‘’ But if they do succeed. It’s going to be a disaster and there’s no one to stop that. Plus my mom is at home. ‘’ Told Subaru. Then, a small creature wearing a construction helmet and armed with a rock picks appear in front of him. Warrock quickly recognize the virus.
'' Kid! What you see in front of you, are Mettenas. Those virus are one of the front line soldier of planet FM. Then kid, I'm curious. What exactly you're going to do against it? '' The young man began to search something quickly as possible in his pocket and took a card.
'' Well Warrock. We humans from planet Earth have found a way to remove those Denpa virus with these wave battle card. And with the canon card in place. Let just said then that virus is ancient history.'' Said Subaru. He swipe the card with his transer and a hologram of a canon appears and shoot towards his target. The virus was eliminated. '' It's incredible! With the capacity to see the wave world through my glasses. I was able to see the hologram of my canon battle card pulverize that virus. But Warrock. This Mettena virus was easy to beat. '' but, Warrock applauds in a sarcastic way his victory.
'' Good going kid but what you're gonna do to those fifteen Mettenas behind you kid? ''
'' What do you mean by that Warrock? There was only one Mettena. '' Answer Subaru.
The young man turned his head and see fifteen Mettenas appearing in front of him. Subaru used another canon card on one of the them. Once that virus had been eliminated, the fourteen other were angry toward the kid and put themselves in attack position. Subaru took panic and suddenly see a broom forgotten by the park keeper. He took it as a weapon and charge towards his fourteen adversaries but when he hit one of them. It was if he hit nothing and finally he fell. The fourteen Mettenas were about to raise their rock picks, Warrock eliminates seven of them with his claws and the eight other viruses moved back from the boy.
'' Why I wasn't able to hit one? '' Ask Subaru.
'' They're made of wave. Do you really think you could beat them with a simple broom
kid? '' Answer Warrock.
'' How can I beat them. I can only use one battle card at the time? '' He ask next.
'' There's a way for you to beat them all if you're welling to listen? '' Told the alien.
'' WHAT!? You want me to beat them all? Take a great look around Warrock. They're going to do the beating here. '' Tell the boy.
'' Then, you're doom kid. So what would it be. Fight or be eliminated? '' Ask Warrock.
'' So what do you propose Mega? '' Demand Subaru.
'' Look behind and tried to find a wave hole. '' Told Warrock.
‘’ What’s a wave hole? ‘’ He ask.
The alien gave him a fast explanation.
‘’ It’s where a chunk of space has been warped into a whirlpool shape! Since you can see the wave road with those glasses. You can find one easily. ‘’
‘’ Ok! It’s have the shape of a whirlpool. ‘’ Subaru looked quickly behind him and found a strange wave whirlpool not very far from the observatory deck's stairway. He went toward that strange whirlpool. ‘’ Hey, I found one! ‘’
'' Good! For the next move, you're going to yell EM wave change! With your name, on the air!! And be quick, the enemies are advancing toward you to finish you off. '' Told Warrock. The boy turns his head again to see the eight remaining Mettenas coming towards him and some of them had already raise their weapon up. Without wasting any time he shouted the sentence.
‘’ Denpa henkan! Hoshikawa Subaru, on air!! ‘’
Suddenly, he transform into blue armored warrior in a black spandex suit. Once Subaru opens his eyes, he sees his new outfit and began to freak.
‘’ AHH! What is with this getup!? ‘’
And he takes a great look at his hands and see the face of Warrock at his right hand side.
‘’ A-and my hands…!! ‘’
‘’ Can’t you quite screaming like a girl kid! We have been fused together. ‘’ Said Warrock.
‘’ Fused? You mean you and me we became one!? I’m a wave thingie now!? You’ve got to be pulling my leg! Change me back right now!! ‘’ Order Subaru but, a Mettena laid his rock picks on the ground and shot a projectile at the boy. The blue bomber avoided the projectile in time.
‘’ Are you crazy kid? You can’t wave change right now. That Mettena have just perform a ground wave attack. When ever they hit their picks to the ground. They shot projectile at their opponent. You want to leave this place then, you have the power to battle the Denpa virus. Earlier on, you could only use one card at times to battle. Now you can use three or more depending on the choice you made. ‘’ Warrock opens a screen at the back of his head for Subaru to see. ‘’ Now the screen you see is a card display which will allow you to chooses your wave battle cards. Once done those battle card will appear in your hand and you will have to feed me those cards. All you have to do is tell me the card you want to use so are you ready to battle? ’’
‘’ Ok! I will try. ’’ Said Subaru.
‘’ Don’t try. Just do it. ’’ Told Warrock.
The blue bomber choose his set of battle card. He gave them to the alien to feed.
‘’ Ok Warrock! Give me the canon card. ‘’ Ordered Subaru.
Warrock head turns into a canon. Subaru use it to eliminated six Mettenas at once. The young man was quite surprise the amount of damage he inflict to those viruses but this small victory gave a chance to a Mettena to go behind the blue bomber for a tricky attack but Warrock notice it and warn Subaru.
‘’ Hey kid! No time for a victory dance. A Mettena is located right behind you. ‘’
‘’ Give me the sword card fast. ‘’ Ask Subaru. His right hands changed into a sword and strike the virus from behind in times. ‘’ That was close. ‘’ But the boy didn’t notice then a projectile was aiming at him from another Mettena place far away from him. Unfortunately, the blue bomber didn’t avoid and was hit instead but, He realize the was still standing. ‘’ Warrock. Why am I not eliminated like the other Mettenas? ‘’
Warrock gave him a explanation.
‘’ It’s because I’m not a wimp like them. The Mettenas virus aren't the strongest viruses so they're perfect candidate for front line soldier. I forgot to show you something important. ‘’ The visor located to the blue bomber’s helmet display some information. ‘’ What your seeing right now his your life meter and those of your opponents as well. Normally, you have one thousand energy point but you have been hit by Mettena's ground wave attack which lead you now with 950 energy point left. So, if your life meter reach zero. We're both goners but there's a way for you to fill your life meter if you have the right card and allow me to warn you. Despite those Mettena are front line soldier. There's are other kind of them that do greater damage so don't underestimate them because they're weak. Now you have to locate that Mettena who use that ground wave attack from. ''
The blue bomber tries to locate the last Mettena. It didn't take long for him to found it since he begun an assault by launching several ground wave attack at him. Subaru manage to dodge them all but he ask himself now, how he's going to take down that tricky virus.
‘’ Any advise to hunt down that far away Mettena Warrock? ‘’
‘’ Well, you will need a long range weapon to take him out. ‘’ Answer Warrock.
‘’ My last battle card was a heat ball. Will it be enough? ‘’ Ask Subaru.
‘’ It will work if you throw it at the right moment so take my advice and visualize the Mettena's movement if you want your aim to be perfect. ‘’ Told Warrock.
He receive the heat ball and watch carefully the Mettena movement. The blue bomber had even avoid several ground wave attacks throw by the virus but, the boy was able to discover the critical moment to throw his heat ball. At the moment the Mettena raise his rock picks up. Subaru threw his heat ball to blow away the last virus.
‘’ We won! ‘’ Cheered himself Subaru but, the boy spook too soon when he sees the train moving a little. ‘’ I completely forgot that train. We must do something before he destroy the town but what? ‘’
‘’ Well, we can still blast that train, It will destroy the virus inside. ‘’ Suggest Warrock.
‘’ ARE YOU CRAZY!? I don’t want to pay another antique train. It’s way expensive. ‘’ Said Subaru.
‘’ So, the only way left for us to attack the virus ourselves inside the antique train computer.‘’ Suggest Warrock next but the boy didn’t quite understand his idea.
‘’ And how are we suppose to go inside that train? ‘’
‘’ Take a great look at the train ‘’ Told Warrock.
The boy took a look and saw a tiny whirlpool.
‘’ There’s a tiny whirlpool on that train but, what the use for? ‘’
‘’ This tiny whirlpool you see there is actually a gate way that's going to send us to the train computer area. Your next move would be to jump to the wave road and get yourself close has possible to that train. ‘’ Explain Warrock.
‘’ WHAT!? YOU WANT ME TO JUMP TO THE WAVE WORLD!? BUT WARROCK, HOW IN THE WORLD AM I GOING TO JUMP SINCE THOSE WEIRD ROAD ARE RIDICOUSLY HIGHER THAN THE SOLID GROUND? ‘’ Said nervously Subaru.
‘’ Calm down kid. In this denpa wave form. You can make super jump enough to reach the road. Trust me on that one. ‘’ Told Warrock. Then, he tries that super jump. Despite thinking it was a crazy idea, the boy succeed at reaching the wave road with one incredible jump. Subaru couldn't believe about the jump he just made. At the moment he was about to continue making his way toward the train. the blue bomber saw some tiny blue program who were starring at him. Subaru look at them without saying any words until Warrock tries to remind the boy then he had a job to do. ‘’ Hey kid! What are you doing? ‘’
‘’ Those weird things are starring at me. His this normal? ‘’ Ask Subaru.
‘’ We have no time for that kid? You have to go to the train if you want to stop it from destroying your town in times. You can deal with those wave beings later. ‘’ Tell the alien. The blue bomber ignore them and goes to train. Once arriving, He place himself to a close position. Then he await for further instruction from Warrock.
‘’ Well, this is as close as I can get, so now what? ‘’
‘’ Aim my head toward the train. ‘’ Order Warrock. The boy found this idea more strange but follow the instruction. He use his right hand and aim toward the tiny whirlpool of the antique train. Suddenly, the whirlpool flash. ‘’ That’s great! It seems then this train accepts Denpa waves. Then, get ready kid because it’s time to hop onboard! ‘’
‘’ What do you mean by that Warrock? ‘’ Demand Subaru.
And without any warning, The blue bomber been pull by that weird
whirlpool who teleport him at the antique train's computer area. Has he appears, The boy land to the platform on his face.
'' Well, I guess you're going to need some landing practice kid. '' Said Warrock.
Once up, the boy witness the strange scenery of this place.
'' Where are we Warrock? ''
'' Where inside the antique train computer. '' Answer Warrock.
‘’ INSIDE THAT ANTIQUE TRAIN COMPUTER!? ‘’ React Subaru.
'' Stop being nervous for once kid. I understand it's actually your first time inside a computer in the wave world so, concentrate yourself on your main objective. Remember. You're here in order to stop a Denpa-virus from causing a disaster. Your next move should be moving to the next area. The enemy you seek is probably there corrupting the control of that train thing. '' Told Warrock
He continue on to the second area. Along the way, he could hear the sound of someone using a rock picks so, the blue bomber wasn't far from the scene of crimes. Then, he reach the area and saw a Mettena trying to break the train control console with his weapon. However, this virus seem unaware of the blue bomber presence which gave him a excellent chance for a sneak attack. Subaru selected another card from Warrock back headed screen and feed him.
‘’ I’m going to make a sneak attack behind that virus so give me the sword card Warrock. ‘’
His right hand change into a sword. The blue bomber began to walk silently toward is target but, Subaru doubt about his plan since he remembers his failure when he tries to leave the house without having his mother notice.
‘’ I hope this virus isn’t like my mom and he won’t hear me. ‘’ Thought the boy.
He kept is cool and was successful to put himself behind the Mettena but, the virus turns his head at the last second so, the blue bomber had no choice to strike and destroy the virus with his sword. Once it was all over, Warrock congratulate Subaru for a well done job.
‘’ Congratulation. You did better than I expected kid. You’ve caught my interest. Think I’ll hang around for a little bit longer! How you like that? ‘’
After the trouble he went through to stop a train from a denpa-virus infection. The boy wasn't on a victory mood.
‘’ A little longer? No thanks! I’m really sorry, but no way am I getting roped into something like that again! ‘’
Warrock was quite surprise at the kid reaction but does remark then he may have some potential to help him out so, he quickly think of an idea to change his mind and he suddenly remembers something the boy said to him earlier on.
'' A human being older and muscular but could it be me dad!? Where he is right now Warrock?
I must know. It's been three years he haven't came back home. ''
Warrock happily grind at Subaru.
‘’ Oh? Then I guess… You don’t want to hear about your old man…? I re-call a while ago you wanted to know where he was right kid? ‘’
The boy began to be nervous.
‘’ B-but that’s got nothing to do with this! ’’
'' Well kid, If you really don't want me hanging around. You can forget the information I hold about your old man so, see you later... '' Told Warrock.
The boy had a change of heart.
‘’ W-wait!! Ok, you can stay in my transer for a bit. But please tell me about my dad. I want to know where he is? ’’
‘’ Glad we agree partner!! But before we leave this place, we have to bring back that train to his rightful place so, I’m leaving you in charge for that kid. ‘’ Said Warrock.
The boy went nervous again.
‘’ WHAT!? I CAN’T OPERATE THAT. I DON’T HAVE ANY PERMIT TO DRIVE A TRAIN. ‘’
They argue over who's going to be in charge of returning the train at his rightful place. In one side, the alien think Subaru should do the job since that machine are human made and on the other side, he think Warrock should do the job due to his wave power. They couldn't came up with a decent decision. Suddenly, a tiny blue program appears in the area and overhears their conversation and decide to stand between to calm them both.
'' Please you two calm down. I'm going to place that train to his rightful place. ''
The blue bomber turns his head down to see the tiny blue program.
'' Are you one of those creature earlier on who kept starring at me? '' Ask Subaru.
'' Yes! It's because we weren't sure you were a nice guy but after seen you going to stop that train from moving. We're convince then you're not bad. '' Answer the blue program.
'' So, How are you going to place back that antique train? '' He demand.
'' No need to worry because we denpa-kun are design by our human creators to control everything in the wave world. '' Told the blue program.
The Denpa-kun took control and place back the train to his rightful place. After that, the blue bomber exit the train computer and wave change back to his original form. Relief to see the town safe but after seen the huge track. He quickly exit Vista point.
'' Why do you run kid? '' Ask Warrock.
'' Because I'm be in trouble if the Satella police sees me there. Battling denpa-virus as that
denpa-warrior thingie isn't normal and I don't think the police will buy my story and even worse, If they discover you're inside my transer. We're both toast so our best option is to ran away until we're far away for Vista point. '' Answer Subaru.
While he’s running away, on top of the school in the shadows, a flaming Ox and a twin headed creatures saw the entire scene and they’re not happy with the result.
‘’ Darn that traitor. He is getting away. ‘’ Said Ox.
But, the twin headed creature stop him by putting himself in front of him.
‘’ What are you doing Gemini? ‘’ Ask Ox
‘’ It no use for you to go after him. You may be the fastest Ox but that Warrock will defeat you quite easier in that form if he fuse again with that human being. However, he isn’t in full power yet since that human being he befriended seems to dislike fighting. We must plan something to take advantage and take back what he stole from our king. ’’ Answer Gemini.
The two creatures go off somewhere. From his newest owner’s transer, Warrock could sense their presence although they vanish. Subaru notice then his strange new friend was worried.
'' What's wrong Warrock? You seem worried about something. ''
'' It's nothing. '' Answer Warrock.
'' Then, we have arrived at my home. '' Said Subaru has he show Warrock his house via the transer. Then, he re-watch the screen of his transer. '' Before I enter my house. It's better you keep quiet until I reach my room. ''
'' Why should I be quiet kid? '' Ask Warrock.
'' Because, having a alien inside my transer isn’t normal and at the moment my mom sees you, she might freak. '' Explain the boy.
'' Ok, ok! I be quiet. '' Said the alien.
The boy finally reach his house after some strange misadventure at Vista point. This day may be over but what is in store for Subaru tomorrow since
